Description

  • Publish and update content across the WordPress website, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube to keep information current, accurate, and on-brand.
  • Plan, create, and ship a steady cadence of social content while proactively monitoring, engaging with audiences, and responding to relevant news and moments.
  • Write briefs, set deadlines, and manage tasks for graphic designers and video support while reviewing work for brand consistency.
  • Coordinate with the external PR firm on timing and amplification and translate earned coverage, preprints, and milestones into social and web content.
  • Maintain the content calendar and ensure a basic SEO/AEO baseline for core terms across owned channels.
  • Track and report channel and website analytics and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Support the launch/buildout phase part-time through the summer and transition to full-time execution in the fall.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience running social and digital content for a brand, startup, or agency.
  • Strong social instincts and sharp copywriting, with the ability to make technical or scientific material clear and credible.
  • Hands-on WordPress experience, including publishing, page updates, and basic SEO.
  • Fluency with LinkedIn, X, and YouTube, including their analytics and scheduling tools.
  • Experience briefing and directing designers and video contributors using tools such as Figma, Canva, or Adobe.
  • Self-directed, reliable, and able to manage deadlines with limited oversight.
  • Deep tech, neurotech, or science communications background is a strong plus.
  • SEO/AEO experience is a strong plus.
  • Video editing experience is a strong plus.
  • Experience supporting a launch or raise is a strong plus.
