Description

  • Educate patients about out-of-network benefits, copays, deductibles, and insurance coverage.
  • Provide exceptional customer service over the phone and through patient communications.
  • Guide patients through scheduling and insurance-related processes.
  • Handle a high volume of patient calls with professionalism and confidence.
  • Support patient financial conversations by explaining coverage and payment responsibilities clearly and compassionately.
  • Maintain organized, dependable, and detail-oriented administrative support in the office.
  • Collaborate in a patient-focused medical environment and represent the office with a positive, professional attitude.

Requirements

  • Female candidate.
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish, spoken and written.
  • Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist, Medical Administrative Assistant, or in a similar healthcare administrative role.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance verification, out-of-network benefits, copays, deductibles, and patient financial responsibility.
  • Ability to explain insurance coverage and payment responsibilities in a clear, confident, and compassionate manner.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Leadership-oriented, proactive mindset with initiative and confidence.
  • Comfortable handling a high volume of patient calls.
  • Experience working with EMR systems.
  • Experience with Prompt EMR is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with prior authorizations is preferred.
  • Experience supporting private medical practices or specialty clinics is preferred.

Benefits

  • Full-time contractor position.
  • 40 hours per week.
  • Monday through Friday schedule.
  • 8 AM to 5 PM EST schedule.
  • Negotiable pay rate depending on skillset and experience.
