Description

Build, scale, deploy, and monitor reliable platform systems using technologies including Scala, Python, MySQL, ClickHouse, Redis, Kafka, Qdrant, and Solr.
Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements and deliver features.
Improve engineering processes, systems, tools, and technical direction.
Plan and break down work, meet deadlines, and ensure appropriate testing and monitoring.
Mentor engineers through knowledge sharing, code reviews, and technical design feedback.
Own and deliver small-to-medium features from implementation through testing and release.
Maintain systems processing hundreds of thousands of messages per day.
Participate in architecture discussions and technical initiatives that improve system health and maintainability.

Requirements

At least 4 years of experience developing and supporting software in production.
At least 3 years of experience programming in object-oriented languages such as Scala or other JVM languages.
At least 3 years of experience with functional programming paradigms and ecosystems such as Cats or ZIO.
Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
Preferred: At least 3 years of experience developing and supporting scalable, distributed backend services.
Preferred: At least 3 years of experience working with SQL and relational databases.
Preferred: Professional proficiency in written and spoken Polish.

Benefits

Monthly B2B hiring salary of PLN 24,300–30,400; full base range of PLN 24,300–36,500.
