Description

  • Deliver 45–60 minute highly interactive virtual life-skills workshops for K–12 students on topics such as public speaking, focus, time management, teamwork, and feedback.
  • Run daily or weekly virtual motivation sessions with students individually and in small groups to review progress and push weekly goal completion.
  • Use online mastery checks and short assessments to verify students have truly learned each skill.
  • Build strong relationships with students over video and chat so they trust coaching and guidance.
  • Track student goal-completion and satisfaction metrics in virtual tools and adjust coaching approaches based on results.
  • Create a structured, distraction-free virtual environment that keeps students engaged and participating on camera and mic.
  • Use stories, examples, and real-world scenarios to make abstract life skills concrete and actionable.
  • Collaborate with other virtual guides to refine workshops, share best practices, and improve the student experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field.
  • Comfortable running engaging live sessions on Zoom or similar platforms with cameras on, high interaction, and frequent facilitation.
  • Strong at building rapport through a screen and adapting in real time based on the virtual room.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship is available.
  • Experience in youth development or athletics, such as coaching, camps, or programs focused on motivating kids toward goals (nice to have).
  • Track record of high personal achievement, such as competitive sports, academic honors, or sustained leadership roles (nice to have).
  • Natural storytelling ability to hold the attention of 10–15 students for an hour without raising your voice (nice to have).
  • Experience turning disengaged or resistant students into active participants in online environments (nice to have).
