Description

  • Prepare property development and feasibility analyses for both sites, including zoning, FAR, setbacks, and entitlement constraints.
  • Manage the permitting process across both jurisdictions, including submittals and plan check responses.
  • Coordinate directly with local planning and building departments to move projects forward.
  • Proactively identify risks or delays and keep the project team informed of status.
  • Join a weekly consulting call to report progress and advise on permitting strategy.

Requirements

  • Direct permitting or expediting experience in San Francisco and/or San Mateo County.
  • Strong knowledge of local jurisdiction permitting processes in the Bay Area.
  • Background in high-end single-family residential projects is a plus.
  • Comfortable working independently as an outside consultant with minimal oversight.
  • Active architecture license is a plus, but not required.
  • Available for a light weekly commitment of about 4 hours per week.
  • Able to participate in a weekly consulting call.
  • SF Bay Area-based preferred, with remote work acceptable.
