Description

  • Take full ownership of solutions from design through deployment.
  • Disrupt and improve technical approaches by introducing new technologies and ideas.
  • Design, develop, and automate tests for cloud-native systems.
  • Ensure technology choices follow best practices and support agile delivery.
  • Build well-designed, optimized, and scalable solutions.
  • Collaborate with an open-minded team to evaluate and implement innovative ideas.
  • Oversee project delivery in a structured and responsible manner.
  • Help establish and improve engineering practices across the team.
  • Support the growth and development of team members' skills.

Requirements

  • Good proficiency in Java and the tools used for Java development.
  • Hands-on experience designing, developing, and automating tests for cloud-native systems.
  • Experience taking ownership of project deliveries and managing work in an organized way.
  • Proven track record of improving engineering practices and mentoring team members.
  • Familiarity with messaging systems such as Kafka and MQ.
  • Strong understanding of integration patterns and their implications.
  • Positive attitude and a strong appetite for learning and self-improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues.
  • Upper-intermediate verbal and written English proficiency.
  • Experience with Java, Spring Boot, and WebFlux is highly advantageous.
  • Knowledge of various data storage solutions is advantageous.
  • Experience designing and optimizing relational and non-relational databases is advantageous.
