Description

  • Create high-quality 2D art, UI elements, thumbnails, and game graphics for Roblox experiences.
  • Design polished graphics, illustrations, textures, particles, icons, and other visual assets for in-game and marketing use.
  • Develop Roblox-native UI elements that fit platform structural and technical constraints.
  • Support the creation of accessories, clothing, map visuals, icons, thumbnails, and related graphics that complement 3D environments and gameplay.
  • Collaborate with creative leads to brainstorm visual concepts aligned with project goals, brand guidelines, and gameplay needs.
  • Work directly with developers to ensure proper implementation, sizing, optimization, and alignment with gameplay systems.
  • Maintain visual consistency across assets while helping evolve the visual style and branding of Roblox projects.
  • Iterate on designs based on creative feedback, playtesting insights, and changing project requirements.
  • Stay current with Roblox trends, visual styles, and platform best practices.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a 2D Artist or Graphic Designer, ideally in games, UGC platforms, or interactive media.
  • Hands-on experience creating art for Roblox or strong familiarity with Roblox visual standards and UI systems.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Strong understanding of composition, color theory, typography, and visual hierarchy.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing 2D artwork, UI design, game graphics, or interactive media work.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively across creative and technical teams.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving production environment.
  • Availability Monday through Friday during core working hours of 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM PST.
  • Experience creating thumbnails or key art for Roblox games, preferred.
  • Basic understanding of 3D pipelines and how 2D assets support 3D environments, preferred.
  • Familiarity with UGC gaming platforms beyond Roblox, preferred.
  • Experience working in startup or agency-style creative teams, preferred.
