Description

  • Negotiate, plan, and manage all release activities across multiple teams and portfolios.
  • Coordinate release content and schedules based on backlogs, service requests, third-party applications, and operating system updates.
  • Conduct release readiness, milestone, and business go/no-go reviews.
  • Produce deployment run books, implementation plans, and weekly release reports.
  • Develop scripts and automation tools to build, integrate, and deploy software releases.
  • Act as a pseudo-Scrum Master by running daily standups, sprint planning, and release coordination.
  • Serve as the point of contact for blockers, escalation management, and release timing conflicts.
  • Monitor development ticket status, prioritization, and progress in Jira and follow up when needed.
  • Communicate project plans, requirements, QA plans, schedule changes, and scope changes to stakeholders.
  • Manage release processes through development, test, and production environments and improve engineering practices.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of release and project management experience, with a solid understanding of formal project management principles preferred.
  • 3+ years of Scrum Master experience.
  • Scrum Master certification is required.
  • Experience in the telecommunications industry is desired.
  • Advanced knowledge of the software development lifecycle and requirements writing.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional work teams.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Jira, Clarity, and Smartsheet.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Must reside in the United States and be authorized to work without visa sponsorship or visa transfer.
