Description

  • Help drive frontend architecture to the next stage of Roofr’s systems.
  • Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle from planning through delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members to define technical requirements.
  • Write clean code to build functional web applications and reusable libraries.
  • Create and maintain unit, functional, and acceptance tests.
  • Troubleshoot and support production applications.
  • Participate in a fast-paced, cross-functional engineering team.
  • Contribute to technical decisions and help steer the technology roadmap.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience holding a Senior Engineering title.
  • 5+ years of software development experience.
  • Strong experience with JavaScript and React + Redux.
  • Experience with SCSS.
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs.
  • Experience building frontend testing and automation systems for unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance tests.
  • Championship of agile methodologies and comfort shipping code frequently.
  • Ability to break down complex problems into incremental solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills and appreciation for documentation.
  • Experience working in an early-stage company environment and understanding its priorities.
  • Track record of proactively recommending improvements to engineering technologies and culture.
  • Collaborative mindset and ownership of product quality.
