Description

Manage and maintain on-premises IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking equipment.
Monitor system performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
Perform regular updates, patches, and other system maintenance tasks.
Design, implement, and manage network configurations across LAN, WAN, and VPN environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity and performance issues.
Monitor and optimize network traffic and overall network performance.
Configure, manage, and monitor firewalls and port settings to support secure communication.
Implement security protocols and best practices, and conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control.
Perform backups and recovery procedures to protect data integrity.
Maintain documentation for infrastructure, configurations, and operational processes.
Collaborate with IT teams and support infrastructure upgrades and internal users as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience managing on-premises IT infrastructure.
Strong experience with firewalls, network security, and port configurations.
Hands-on experience with LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
Experience with server administration and virtualization technologies.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Solid understanding of security protocols and best practices.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or CISSP (nice to have).
