Description

  • Manage and maintain on-premises IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking equipment.
  • Monitor system performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Perform regular updates, patches, and other system maintenance tasks.
  • Design, implement, and manage network configurations across LAN, WAN, and VPN environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity and performance issues.
  • Monitor and optimize network traffic and overall network performance.
  • Configure, manage, and monitor firewalls and port settings to support secure communication.
  • Implement security protocols and best practices, and conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control.
  • Perform backups and recovery procedures to protect data integrity.
  • Maintain documentation for infrastructure, configurations, and operational processes.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and support infrastructure upgrades and internal users as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience managing on-premises IT infrastructure.
  • Strong experience with firewalls, network security, and port configurations.
  • Hands-on experience with LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
  • Experience with server administration and virtualization technologies.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Solid understanding of security protocols and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or CISSP (nice to have).
