Description

  • Deliver and maintain Terraform modules for AWS EKS, RDS, ingress controllers, and cost-optimization architectures.
  • Define SLO and SLI tracking frameworks and automate error-budget monitoring.
  • Participate in post-incident technical reviews and build tooling to reduce operational toil.
  • Architect and operate OpenTelemetry collection and routing pipelines for downstream teams.
  • Provide specialized code reviews, pull-request assessments, and architecture recommendations.
  • Develop reusable platform patterns and CI/CD tooling to streamline developer deployments.
  • Define the operating model and maintain global runbooks, SOPs, regional coordination, and issue remediation processes.
  • Provide autonomous technical guidance and infrastructure delivery aligned with project SLAs and milestones.

Requirements

  • Deep expertise with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
  • Strong experience operating AWS EKS, RDS, ingress controllers, and TLS certificate automation.
  • Experience with cloud cost and capacity tuning.
  • Proven production reliability or SRE experience, including SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, and toil reduction.
  • Hands-on experience designing and operating OpenTelemetry collection and routing pipelines.
  • Fluent professional English communication skills for cross-border asynchronous collaboration and code-review advisory.
  • Based in Mexico and able to operate as an independent B2B service provider.
  • Registered with Mexico’s SAT under a qualifying regime, such as RESICO or Persona Física con Actividad Empresarial.
  • Able to issue valid CFDI invoices through Rippling.
