Description

  • Design, build, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Apache Spark and Delta Lake across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Develop Lakehouse architectures that process structured and unstructured data at enterprise scale.
  • Automate data ingestion, storage, and feature engineering workflows for analytics and real-time AI workloads.
  • Tune Spark jobs for low latency, high throughput, and cloud cost efficiency.
  • Operationalize AI models in Databricks with MLflow for tracking, versioning, and deployment.
  • Implement CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code automation using Terraform and Databricks CLI.
  • Enforce data security, access controls, and compliance standards through Unity Catalog and cloud platforms.
  • Collaborate with client leaders, product managers, engineers, ML engineers, and data scientists to define business outcomes.
  • Create technical documentation and lead solution handoffs to client engineering teams.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of cloud-native data engineering experience.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and MLflow.
  • High proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark frameworks, CI/CD, and Infrastructure-as-Code.
  • Experience with Terraform or Databricks CLI.
  • Experience delivering cloud-agnostic architectures in fast-paced Agile or DevOps consulting environments.
  • Strong client communication and collaboration skills.
  • Active Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate or Professional certification preferred.
  • Databricks ML Professional certification preferred.
  • US-based availability, preferably in the Eastern or Central Time Zone.
