Description

  • Design and execute application migrations into Kubernetes clusters.
  • Develop and maintain deployment automation for containerized workloads.
  • Configure and deploy workloads using Helm charts and Kubernetes primitives.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve deployment, integration, and runtime issues.
  • Validate application performance and behavior after migration.
  • Collaborate with platform, DevOps, and application teams to define integration requirements.
  • Build and maintain Kubernetes networking and integration configurations.
  • Support cloud-native modernization efforts on AWS and Azure.
  • Document migration processes, runbooks, and post-migration validations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in backend or platform integration engineering.
  • Strong Python development expertise for automation and tooling.
  • Demonstrated experience migrating applications into Kubernetes and configuring deployments.
  • Proven experience with containerization and managing containerized workloads.
  • Experience using Helm charts to package and deploy applications.
  • Hands-on experience with deployment automation for cloud-native platforms.
  • Solid knowledge of Kubernetes networking and integration patterns.
  • Experience supporting cloud-native modernization projects on AWS and Azure.
  • Track record of validating performance and resolving issues post-migration.
  • Experience with OpenSearch (nice to have).
  • Experience with Ansible (nice to have).
  • Experience with Fluent Bit (nice to have).
  • Experience with Keycloak (nice to have).
  • Experience with PostgreSQL (nice to have).
  • Participation in large-scale platform modernization initiatives (nice to have).
  • Engagement length of 12 months or more.
  • Availability to work PST hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Must follow the client’s USA holiday calendar.
  • BYOD laptop arrangement.
  • No overtime required.
