Description

  • Complete a paid vetting survey and screening call as part of the selection process.
  • Design physical objects suitable for 3D printing using open-source CAD software.
  • Carry out engineering design tasks while your workflow and design decisions are captured for AI training.
  • Write and execute Python validation scripts to support the design workflow.
  • Use CAD tools to solve real-world engineering design challenges.
  • Contribute expert input to help improve next-generation AI models.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Strong proficiency with open-source CAD software such as FreeCAD, KiCad, or similar.
  • Python development experience and the ability to write and execute scripts independently (desirable).
  • Experience writing validation scripts rather than only using pre-built tools (desirable).
  • Comfortable working from the command line (desirable).
  • Comfortable using Linux and/or Windows environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • A reliable internet connection and access to a computer.
