Description

  • Build and configure client websites directly in Popmenu's proprietary web builder.
  • Apply HTML and CSS to refine layouts, fix styling edge cases, and support accessibility requirements.
  • Execute template-based site builds while maintaining visual quality, brand alignment, and consistency across sections.
  • Contribute to redesign projects by updating layouts, styles, and clearly scoped components.
  • Support the design team with requests, fixes, and enhancements across active sites.
  • Perform internal reviews using design checklists before sites are published to catch layout, styling, accessibility, and content issues.
  • Select fonts, extend color palettes, and source or adjust imagery when brand assets are limited.
  • Edit and format content to improve clarity, hierarchy, and readability.
  • Apply SEO best practices for page structure, metadata, and image descriptions, including drafting SEO copy and alt text with AI tools.
  • Write structured design notes and manage assigned work in Salesforce, including milestone updates and logging notes.
  • Attend internal meetings and partner with Onboarding and Success teams on client calls for complex requests or escalations.
  • Incorporate internal and client feedback accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Intermediate proficiency in HTML and CSS with 1+ year of experience.
  • Strong foundation in branding and web design principles, including hierarchy, spacing, typography, mobile-first design, and visual consistency.
  • Working knowledge of responsive layouts using Flexbox/Grid and browser DevTools for troubleshooting.
  • Basic understanding of SEO best practices for site structure, metadata, and image alt text.
  • Comfort working in a template-based, builder-first environment within defined systems and constraints.
  • Moderate experience with graphic editing tools such as Photoshop, GIMP, Affinity, or similar.
  • Ability to make thoughtful design decisions when brand assets are incomplete or minimal.
  • Comfortable using AI productivity tools to support copywriting, image work, and task efficiency.
  • Familiarity with CRM or project management platforms; Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and written communication skills, including the ability to write structured notes clearly.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Experience with accessibility-focused design and production work is preferred.
