Description

  • Partner with Product and UX Design on opportunity discovery, ideation, research planning, participant selection, and methodology recommendations.
  • Lead end-to-end research, including recruitment, discussion-guide development, facilitation, analysis, synthesis, and findings communication.
  • Conduct surveys, interviews, remote feedback sessions, usability tests, prototype research, user outreach, persona development, journey mapping, and validation studies.
  • Translate customer feedback and research data into product strategy and design recommendations for cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Lead workshops, communicate research decisions to leadership, and provide project leadership to researchers and designers.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Customer Success, Data Science, Customer Insights, and subject-matter experts to strengthen personas, journeys, use cases, and research practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a UX researcher or in a comparable customer-focused research role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, statistics, human-computer interaction, information systems, or a related field.
  • Ability to develop research strategies, discovery plans, discussion guides, study methods, and synthesize findings quickly.
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills with the ability to turn user feedback into actionable insights.
  • Experience with Dovetail, User Interviews, Salesforce, SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics, Pendo, or similar research and analytics tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting findings, explaining decisions, persuading, and negotiating.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites approximately four times per year and attend required office events.
  • Experience using AI tools such as Claude and Microsoft Copilot for research work.
  • Healthcare, medical, regulated, payer, acute-care, or financial application research experience preferred.
  • Experience with Figma and Miro and cross-functional collaboration across Product, UX, Engineering, and related teams preferred.

Benefits

  • Six-month contract with Canadian pay of $60.00–$66.68 CAD per hour.
  • Remote work across Canada or hybrid work in Mississauga, Ontario.
  • Remote employees may travel to Mississauga and/or Salt Lake City for onboarding, team events, and annual or semi-annual meetings.
  • Hybrid employees are expected to live within commuting distance of the specified office and attend recurring team events.
