Description

  • Create user-centered content that makes complex product language and processes easy to understand.
  • Write and maintain in-app communications for product releases, regulatory updates, and sunsetting products.
  • Collaborate with Product Leaders and Engineers to produce UI copy, including dialog boxes, microcopy, labels, buttons, ghost text, and toast/snackbar messages.
  • Manage the content release calendar and oversee the Help Center, Resource Hub, and help file build process from QA through deployment and release.
  • Develop and maintain technical help files and content assets for sustaining products.
  • Apply content architecture principles to organize content for reuse and publishing across platforms, personas, and markets.
  • Work in agile environments and adapt to changing priorities and workflows.
  • Use basic data analysis to inform content decisions and summarize findings.
  • Research topics and use AI tools to support drafting, editing, and brainstorming while maintaining accuracy and brand voice.
  • Write conversational, user-friendly dialogue and microcopy aligned with established voice and pattern guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or training/background in English, UX writing, technical communications, or journalism.
  • Strong XML and HTML experience for creating and formatting content in software UI and help systems.
  • Experience writing content in product-focused or technical environments.
  • Ability to structure language for XML and JSON formats.
  • Experience with content management systems (CCMS) and agile development workflows.
  • Proficiency using AI tools for content drafting and editing.
  • Experience writing instructional, technical, and UX content tailored to audience needs.
  • Background working in agile development with cross-functional teams, including Product Management and Engineers.
  • Domain knowledge in PointClickCare, EHR, or healthcare software is a plus.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Paligo, Pendo, Jira, Aha!, Figma, Miro, or Smartsheet is a plus.
  • Experience writing conversational microcopy and dialogue following established patterns and voice guidelines.
  • Portfolio showcasing instructional content and UI microcopy samples.
