Description

  • Support day-to-day IT operations, including user onboarding and off-boarding, hardware provisioning, troubleshooting tickets, and end-user support.
  • Manage the macOS laptop fleet, including MDM enrollment, configuration, software deployment, and compliance baselines.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity, hardware, software, and authentication issues across Mac, Linux, and Windows environments.
  • Document fixes, runbooks, and FAQs to help the team scale.
  • Assist with Okta administration, including user lifecycle management, group management, SSO/MFA configuration, application assignments, and access reviews.
  • Support periodic access reviews and collect audit evidence.
  • Support ZScaler operations, including policy review, bypass requests, log analysis, and user troubleshooting.
  • Help maintain DLP policies and triage alerts for potential data exfiltration.
  • Assist with WAF rule review, false-positive tuning, and traffic analysis for AWS WAFv2 and Akamai.
  • Support SIEM operations in Splunk and Wazuh by querying logs, building dashboards, and tuning alerts.
  • Write and maintain scripts to automate repetitive IT and security tasks such as log analysis, evidence collection, ticket enrichment, account hygiene, and reporting.
  • Build small tools to improve team efficiency and contribute to AI/agentic workflows used for investigations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Assurance, IT Management, or a related field.
  • Scripting experience in at least one of Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
  • Working knowledge of the Linux command line, file system navigation, permissions, process management, and log inspection tools such as grep, awk, sed, tail, and journalctl.
  • Comfort using macOS as a daily-driver operating system and performing basic Mac troubleshooting.
  • Solid IT troubleshooting fundamentals, networking basics (DNS, DHCP, VPN, TLS), authentication flows (SAML, OAuth, MFA), and hardware/software support.
  • Comfort using Git, GitHub, and the terminal.
  • Strong written communication and documentation skills.
  • Must reside in the U.S.
  • Hands-on exposure to tools such as Okta, ZScaler, Jamf, Kandji, Intune, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Splunk, Wazuh, AWS, or GCP is preferred.
  • Familiarity with DLP concepts, WAF concepts, SIEM querying, compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, HIPAA, NIST CSF, or ISO 27001, SQL, CTFs, or public GitHub project work is preferred.
  • Interest in IT, cybersecurity, AI, healthcare technology, or regulated environments is preferred.
  • This role is not eligible for employer visa sponsorship, and applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States for the duration of employment.
