Description

  • Support foundational work that improves the scalability, availability, and efficiency of cloud and distributed systems.
  • Collaborate with Senior SREs to diagnose, resolve, and prevent production incidents.
  • Automate operational tasks and manage configurations using scripting and Infrastructure as Code tools.
  • Monitor service health using observability platforms and dashboards.
  • Deliver incremental tasks by estimating complexity, managing dependencies, and addressing ambiguous requirements with guidance.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and contribute to blameless postmortems.
  • Build SRE expertise and progressively take ownership of tasks and impact.

Requirements

  • Foundational experience in at least one programming language, such as Python or Go.
  • Basic understanding of cloud environments, preferably AWS, and distributed-systems concepts.
  • Interest in automation, scripting, and Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform.
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools, such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
  • Familiarity with containers and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes (preferred).
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to manage tasks reliably, communicate effectively, and maintain clear documentation.
  • Interest in reliability engineering principles, including incident management, monitoring, and service-level management.
  • Growth mindset and motivation to develop Site Reliability Engineering skills.
