Description

  • Own the Swedish payroll cycle from start to finish.
  • Ensure employees are paid accurately and on time.
  • Maintain compliance with statutory, tax, and social security requirements.
  • Work closely with People teams, Finance, and the external payroll vendor.
  • Resolve payroll queries in a proactive, customer-service-oriented manner.
  • Monitor payroll controls and processes in a system-driven, SLA-led environment.
  • Support continuous process improvements across payroll operations.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in payroll operations.
  • Strong understanding of Swedish payroll legislation, processes, controls, and statutory requirements.
  • Knowledge of Skatteverket reporting and social security contributions.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms or payroll systems such as Workday, ADP, or CloudPay.
  • Ideally, exposure to vendor-managed payroll models.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • A proactive, resilient, and flexible team-player approach.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and focus on solutions.
