Description

  • Design and implement reusable, clean, tested, efficient, secure, maintainable, and well-documented software solutions.
  • Assist partners with integration into published APIs.
  • Document findings, actions, and plans and help establish reporting and communication standards.
  • Assess technical feasibility of product requirements and contribute input to the product team.
  • Translate product requirements into SRS documents and technical plans.
  • Identify technical debt proactively and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Mentor team members and support their professional growth through guidance and knowledge sharing.
  • Conduct code reviews to improve code quality and maintain high standards.
  • Participate in business and technical discussions and help lead project-level decisions.
  • Introduce tools and ideas that improve startup productivity.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering or adjacent fields.
  • 3+ years of experience working fully remotely with strong self-management and accountability.
  • Hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, or NestJS.
  • In-depth understanding of web application architecture and scalable application design principles.
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience designing and optimizing databases, including query optimization, scaling, and data modeling.
  • Advanced knowledge of Docker and AWS.
  • English proficiency at C1 level.
  • Experience leading technical and product discussions is valued.
  • Experience supporting team members through mentoring is a plus.
