Description

  • Design and implement BGP routing over redundant IPsec VPN tunnels.
  • Architect isolated AWS environments using VPCs, Transit Gateway, and controlled routing.
  • Implement managed file transfer services based on partner protocol requirements.
  • Integrate file transfer services with Amazon S3 and internal systems.
  • Provision and manage AWS infrastructure using infrastructure as code.
  • Implement access controls, encryption, secrets management, logging, and monitoring.
  • Define file validation, recovery, reconciliation, and failure-handling processes.
  • Plan and execute migration activities, including parallel testing and rollback procedures.
  • Create architecture diagrams, network plans, implementation documentation, and operational runbooks.
  • Coordinate delivery with partner, security, network, application, and platform teams.

Requirements

  • Extensive production experience with AWS infrastructure and networking.
  • Strong knowledge of VPCs, Transit Gateway, IPsec VPNs, BGP, and routing.
  • Experience with Amazon S3, IAM, KMS, CloudWatch, and VPC endpoints.
  • Experience with managed file transfer platforms and external partner integrations.
  • Strong network, Linux, and application troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with security controls, monitoring, recovery testing, and incident response.
  • Strong technical writing and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Experience with Terraform or Ansible (preferred).
  • Production experience with IBM Connect, financial services or regulated industries, AWS multi-account governance, or mainframe environments (preferred).
  • Availability Monday to Friday from 11:00 to 20:00 CET; initial 3-month engagement with potential extension.
