Description

  • Take features from loose concepts through shipping and production monitoring.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, billing interfaces, documentation platforms, and developer-facing tools.
  • Propose what should be built and help shape product direction rather than waiting for a roadmap.
  • Work across the stack, including frontend and backend development.
  • Identify user problems and fix frustrations in the product as a developer customer.
  • Own features through the full lifecycle, including post-release quality issues and production metrics.
  • Communicate realistic estimates, meet commitments, and flag delivery risks early.
  • Use AI coding assistants for planning, prototyping, and iteration while ensuring shipped quality.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Ruby on Rails and React.
  • Comfort moving across the stack, including complex dashboards and documentation platforms.
  • Natural empathy for developers and a strong focus on developer experience.
  • Ability to work with ambiguity, identify problems, and propose solutions with minimal hand-holding.
  • Ownership mindset with accountability from first line of code through production metrics.
  • Proactive communication skills, including realistic estimation and early escalation of risks.
  • Comfortable using AI coding assistants in day-to-day work.
  • Good design and UX intuition.
  • Experience building developer-first products or working on B2D platforms (nice to have).
  • Experience with product-led growth products (nice to have).
  • Background in real-time, messaging, or infrastructure-adjacent products (nice to have).
