Description

  • Collaborate with team members and project leads to solve problems and derive requirements.
  • Participate in all aspects of engineering projects from planning through delivery.
  • Own project deliverables while being mindful of budgets, timelines, and client needs.
  • Participate in peer code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Ensure projects follow Mindgrub standard processes.
  • Interact with clients as needed to provide project updates and information.
  • Research and evaluate solutions, features, and related technologies to meet project requirements and anticipate future client needs.
  • Produce task-level levels of effort (LOEs).
  • Design, build, and maintain responsive web applications using React and TypeScript.
  • Develop reusable, accessible UI components and scalable front-end architecture.
  • Implement client-side state management, routing, data fetching, error handling, and performance optimization.
  • Collaborate with product, design, QA, backend engineering, and client stakeholders to deliver polished web experiences.
  • Participate in the new candidate interview process.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Remote role with preferred hours of 9:00am to 5:00pm EST and 40 hours per week.
  • Available from July through January with potential to extend.
  • Preferred undergraduate or graduate technical degree in Information Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of professional front-end development experience using React and JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Strong experience with React, TypeScript, semantic HTML, modern CSS, and front-end build tooling.
  • Experience designing reusable component libraries or design systems and managing complex client-side state.
  • Experience testing React applications with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing tools.
  • Understanding of web accessibility, responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and front-end performance.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems such as Git, and modern development workflows.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to discuss issues with a wide variety of individuals and groups.
  • Ability to attend meetings virtually and work autonomously.

Benefits

  • $65.00 to $75.00 USD per hour compensation.
  • Base pay determined by skills, education, certifications, geographic location, and overall experience.
