Description

  • Build and maintain the core API used by customers, SDKs, Terraform provider, and internal systems.
  • Work with the platform architect and lead backend engineer on design and implementation.
  • Contribute to REST APIs, webhooks, and SDK compatibility.
  • Own the reliability of the services you build.
  • Support the accelerating roadmap for the backend platform and API.
  • Help power high-performance compute and global connectivity for AI and enterprise workloads.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of backend engineering experience.
  • Strong experience with Ruby on Rails, Python, or Go, ideally both Python and Go.
  • Experience designing and building REST APIs at scale.
  • Experience with relational databases.
  • Experience with background jobs and distributed systems fundamentals.
  • A strong focus on API design as a craft.
  • Experience working on developer-facing products or systems (preferred).
