Description

  • Administer, maintain, and optimize Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server environments.
  • Design database structures, indexing strategies, and performance tuning improvements.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
  • Support and manage systems within a Microsoft Azure GCC High environment.
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure infrastructure supporting database workloads.
  • Implement secure cloud architectures with encryption, network security, and access controls.
  • Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams on Azure governance, policies, and compliance controls.
  • Integrate databases with financial systems, reporting platforms, and ERP environments.
  • Support data accuracy, reporting workflows, audit readiness, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in database administration, cloud engineering, or related roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database Administration.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including GCC High environments.
  • Experience deploying and supporting database workloads in Azure.
  • Expertise in database performance tuning.
  • Experience with high availability and disaster recovery.
  • Experience supporting regulated or government cloud environments; GCC High preferred.
  • Strong familiarity with Azure architecture and services, including IaaS, PaaS, networking, and storage.
  • Familiarity with FedRAMP, NIST 800-171, or CMMC frameworks.
  • Understanding of environments subject to audit, compliance, or SOX-related controls.
  • Experience supporting financial systems, ERP platforms, or accounting/reporting environments preferred.
  • Experience with financial platforms, pension systems, or benefits administration environments preferred.
  • Exposure to data warehousing, BI tools, or analytics platforms preferred.
  • Experience working within multi-domain environments, including Active Directory and Azure AD.
  • Familiarity with identity and access considerations in GCC High environments.
  • Experience supporting SOX-controlled environments or public company reporting structures preferred.
  • Relevant certifications in Microsoft Azure (Government/GCC High focus), Oracle DBA, or security/compliance preferred.
