Description

Lead the end-to-end creation of IB MYP and DP mathematics textbook content from planning through final publication.
Manage project timelines, set milestones, and keep content development on schedule.
Ensure lessons, examples, and practice questions align with IB curriculum requirements, objectives, and assessment expectations.
Review lessons, questions, solutions, and explanatory materials for clarity, accuracy, and pedagogical effectiveness.
Provide detailed feedback to writers and editors to improve content quality and IB alignment.
Coordinate and communicate with writers, educators, and editors across the content development team.
Mentor content writers in IB curriculum design and best practices.
Continuously improve content development and review workflows to increase efficiency and quality.
Use AI and other ed-tech tools to support draft generation, alignment checking, and workflow streamlining.
Own final quality assurance before release and ensure each unit meets a world-class standard.

Requirements

Extensive knowledge of the IB mathematics curriculum for MYP and DP.
A few years of experience teaching IB MYP and/or DP Mathematics, or experience developing IB-aligned curriculum materials.
Strong background in educational content creation such as writing or editing textbook chapters, lesson plans, or exam-style questions.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Experience leading projects or teams in education, publishing, or curriculum development.
High comfort with technology and a willingness to use and experiment with modern AI tools.
Experience with LaTeX or other math authoring software is beneficial.
Excellent communication skills, especially for writing clear and constructive feedback.
Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team and coordinate across time zones.
Meticulous attention to detail and a strong focus on academic accuracy and quality.
Prior experience in curriculum publishing or as an editor for math educational content is a plus.
Experience writing or grading mathematics exams is helpful.
Basic experience with programming or data tools such as Python or SQL could be useful.
