Description

  • Develop and maintain core backend systems for XVA, Liquidity, and Financial Resource Management.
  • Contribute to the migration toward a modern event-driven backend architecture.
  • Build and support UI tools used in daily operations by hundreds of users.
  • Work in a collaborative, agile team with a focus on clean code and software craftsmanship.
  • Design and implement solutions using C# .NET, Web API, SignalR, and message-driven communication.
  • Work with MS SQL, ORM-based data access, and enterprise DevOps tooling.
  • Collaborate directly with front-office IT and other stakeholders on engineering tasks.
  • Apply disciplined engineering practices while managing conduct, risk awareness, and escalation when needed.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding and hands-on experience with object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software principles.
  • Strong experience with .NET C# and its ecosystem.
  • Strong experience with service-oriented architectures.
  • Strong experience with MS SQL.
  • Demonstrable experience with DevOps tools such as GIT/Bitbucket, TeamCity, Jenkins, or Ansible.
  • Understanding of LLM capabilities in software development and practical experience with agentic AI engineering in an enterprise environment.
  • Expertise in at least 2 of the following areas: financial products (listed or OTC), PnL Explain, risks (Delta, Gamma, Theta, Vega), XVA (CVA, FVA, ColVA), liquidity risk (RNFB, NSFR), cash forecasting, balance sheet metrics (Leverage Exposure), or pre-trade calculation and booking workflow.
  • Nice to have web development experience with HTML, JavaScript or TypeScript, React, and Redux.
  • High autonomy, excellent teamwork, communication, analytical, and organisational skills are expected.
  • Attention to detail, flexibility, proactivity, integrity, and accountability are important for this role.
