Description

  • Lead delivery and client engagement efforts across a portfolio of strategic contracts.
  • Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with government partners.
  • Identify and resolve risks related to delivery, process, staffing, finances, milestones, and expectations.
  • Engage clients continuously to understand their needs, communicate progress, and solve issues collaboratively.
  • Maintain awareness of the broader project landscape to identify opportunities, risks, and portfolio growth options.
  • Collaborate across projects and teams to anticipate and solve delivery challenges.
  • Scale program efforts through project managers and other functional delivery leads.
  • Manage contracts and finances within the portfolio in coordination with the finance team.
  • Set and uphold standards for delivery excellence and client service.
  • Apply Nava policies and guidance at the program level and contribute to company objectives and key results.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience overseeing delivery outcomes and client relationships for small- to medium-sized projects.
  • Must have Scrum Master experience leading ceremonies.
  • Experience with custom software or cloud infrastructure programs/projects.
  • Experience working with or for government agencies.
  • Experience growing agile development teams and managing projects at scale.
  • Ability to lead complex projects with significant milestones, dependencies, integrations, risk, uncertainty, or scale.
  • Experience using agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe and familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong relationship-building ability.
  • Strong organizational skills, strategic delivery planning, and adaptable problem-solving across multiple organizations and technologies.
  • Occasional travel required.
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the United States and work authorization that does not require visa sponsorship, now or in the future.
  • Ability to meet government contract requirements and possibly pass a government background check or security clearance, depending on the contract.
  • Preferred: Program management experience in the government space.
  • Preferred: Experience launching new production systems with high public visibility.
  • Preferred: Experience with long-term, complex, ambiguous IT modernization efforts.
  • Preferred: Experience using Jira and Confluence.
  • Preferred: Experience managing production operations and support alongside ongoing product or feature development.
