Description

  • Create VFX art for video games across a range of project styles and visual directions.
  • Produce stylized and photorealistic effects work as needed for upcoming game projects.
  • Contribute VFX for multiple asset types and specializations, including characters, environments, and weapons.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to VFX production and implementation.
  • Collaborate within a cross-functional creative team on future game content.
  • Adapt work based on critique and iterative feedback throughout the production process.

Requirements

  • A strong portfolio with recent VFX art for video games is required and must be submitted for consideration.
  • Experience with Unreal Engine.
  • Experience creating both stylized and photorealistic VFX.
  • Experience working across multiple specializations such as characters, environments, and weapons.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical problems.
  • Self-driven attitude with positivity toward critique and learning from mistakes.
  • Experience with proprietary engines is a plus.
  • Experience with Maya, Embergen, Houdini, and/or HLSL is a plus.
  • Experience with tech art is a plus.
  • Must be available for a fully remote ongoing contract-only position.
  • This position is not available to California residents.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $65K-$80K per year, or $31/hr to $38/hr.
