Description

  • Build, establish, and improve the structure of a high-end 3D animation team.
  • Animate a variety of characters, creatures, props, and vehicles for game production.
  • Develop and maintain pipeline tools in Unreal Engine, Maya, 3DS Max, and MotionBuilder.
  • Work closely with the Animation Director and Project Manager on project execution.
  • Create mocap cleanup, facial animation, and cinematic animation work for upcoming projects.
  • Contribute to animation production for AAA titles in a remote team setting.

Requirements

  • Strong portfolio or demo reel with recent 3D animation work for video games; submission is required to be considered.
  • 5+ years of professional experience as a 3D Animator in the video game industry.
  • Proficiency with Maya and Unreal Engine 5 Cinematics (Sequencer).
  • Experience with motion capture cleanup.
  • Experience working with more realistic art styles focused on bipedal human animations for games.
  • MotionBuilder experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Unreal Engine 5 integration, hand-keyed animation, and proprietary tools is a plus.
  • Experience in related animation areas such as rigging, skinning, or scripting is a plus.
  • This is a fully remote, ongoing contract position.
  • This position is not available to California residents.
