Description

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping across all accounts.
  • Categorize transactions correctly in QuickBooks and resolve data discrepancies.
  • Perform regular reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and payment platforms.
  • Track cash flow and maintain visibility into incoming and outgoing funds.
  • Support leadership with cash flow forecasts and liquidity insights.
  • Review, document, and optimize internal financial workflows and controls.
  • Improve expense tracking, billing processes, and internal financial systems.
  • Prepare structured internal financial reports and support budgeting and forecasting.
  • Work with external CPAs during tax filings, audits, and reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. accounting standards and internal policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience is required.
  • At least 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience for a U.S. company is required.
  • Strong expertise in QuickBooks is required.
  • Proven experience with detailed categorization and financial cleanup is required.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
  • Availability for a full-time schedule of 8 hours per day with at least 6 hours of overlap with Pacific Time.
  • Independent contractor engagement, with contractor responsible for tax compliance.
  • Experience in a remote Asia-based role is relevant to the position.
