Description

  • Translate video game content from English into Canadian French.
  • Perform machine translation post-editing for localization projects.
  • Collaborate and communicate with international team members outside Quebec in English.
  • Deliver work for new localization projects, including major video game titles.
  • Maintain high-quality localization standards aligned with client and market requirements.
  • Work remotely as a freelance linguist or through an agency/LSP.

Requirements

  • Native Canadian French speaker with fluent English.
  • Translation degree and/or significant professional translation experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience in translation/localization.
  • Experience in MT post-editing.
  • Experience in video game localization and/or strong passion for video games.
  • Proficiency with CAT tools.
  • Rigorous, methodical, and detail-oriented.
  • At least 3 years of experience in translation/localization (French version).
  • This opportunity is only for full-time freelancers and agencies/LSPs.
