Description

  • Develop end-to-end features from backend AI agents to intuitive frontend interfaces.
  • Build and maintain backend services using Node.js and/or Python with asynchronous, RESTful, and microservice patterns.
  • Integrate and support LLM-based features in production, including structured outputs, retries, rate limits, streaming, and fallbacks.
  • Design, troubleshoot, and optimize PostgreSQL schemas and queries, including execution plan analysis and transaction behavior.
  • Debug production issues using logs, metrics, distributed tracing, and monitoring dashboards.
  • Create and maintain robust automated tests for backend and AI-related behavior.
  • Use AI-assisted coding tools as part of the daily development workflow and verify AI-generated output when needed.
  • Work with event-driven and queue-based systems, including Kafka or similar tools.
  • Collaborate in an Agile environment using Jira and Confluence and communicate root causes and post-mortem findings clearly.

Requirements

  • 4–5+ years of experience in product development, with hands-on LLM integration and data engineering experience.
  • Strong backend experience with Node.js, Worker threads, and the NestJS ecosystem.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript and proven backend development experience with Python.
  • Experience with prompt engineering, LangChain chains, embeddings, and semantic search.
  • Practical experience with Qdrant or similar vector databases, including indexing and similarity search.
  • Experience working with distributed systems, Kafka, and analytical databases such as ClickHouse.
  • Strong understanding of PostgreSQL, including OLTP vs. OLAP usage and query optimization.
  • Experience with Redis, S3/MinIO, Docker/Kubernetes, and the AWS ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with Jest, Supertest, or PyTest, plus regression testing and non-deterministic LLM evaluation.
  • Strong analytical skills, a product-driven mindset, and the ability to architect fault-tolerant, maintainable systems.
