Description

Manage end-to-end accounts payable, including invoice review, coding, posting, vendor payments, and statement reconciliations.
Perform bank and corporate credit card reconciliations and resolve unreconciled transactions and discrepancies.
Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, reversals, and reclassifications.
Reconcile general ledger and balance sheet accounts, maintain supporting schedules, and coordinate intercompany reconciliations.
Support timely month-end close and accurate financial reporting.
Provide records, reports, and reconciliations to external tax consultants and support US sales and use tax inquiries.
Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules, and assist with budgeting, analysis, and management inquiries.
Improve accounting workflows and internal controls while maintaining organized accounting documentation.
Coordinate with finance team members and other departments to resolve accounting issues and complete assigned administrative tasks.

Requirements

Based in the Philippines.
Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
3–5 years of relevant accounting experience; Australian or US accounting experience is preferred.
Strong experience in accounts payable, bank reconciliations, general ledger accounting, and month-end close.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV or a similar ERP system (preferred).
CPA qualification (preferred).
Experience with US banking platforms, intercompany accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, and external tax consultant support (preferred).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.
Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and align with Australian business hours.
Willingness to disclose existing client work and list the engagement on LinkedIn as an Independent Contractor.
