Description

  • Request medical records, medical bills, and related documents from healthcare providers.
  • Follow up on outstanding records requests until documents are received.
  • Upload, label, and organize documents in the firm’s case management system.
  • Maintain tracking logs for pending requests and follow-ups.
  • Identify and flag missing documentation for assigned case managers.
  • Send and track HIPAA authorizations and other records-release forms.
  • Process incoming faxes and electronic records and route them to the appropriate case files.
  • Protect client confidentiality in all records-handling activities.

Requirements

  • Experience requesting medical records and medical bills at a US personal injury law firm.
  • Strong written and spoken English for communicating with medical providers by phone and email.
  • Ability to independently manage a high volume of records requests and follow-ups across multiple cases.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace and a legal case management platform.
  • Full-time availability Monday through Friday during US Pacific business hours.
  • Reliable internet connection and a dedicated remote workspace.
  • Experience supporting multiple case managers simultaneously (preferred).
  • Experience with premises liability cases (preferred).
  • Experience accessing a firm’s systems through remote desktop tools (preferred).

  • Monthly compensation of $1,300 to $1,400, depending on experience.
