Description

  • Enter game content to support D&D Beyond tools.
  • Validate digital implementations against sourcebooks and recommend fixes for gaps or shortfalls.
  • Test content functionality across the character builder, compendium, encounters, maps, and other D&D Beyond tools.
  • Author and maintain structured digital content using HTML, CSS, JSON, and proprietary content authoring tools.
  • Identify and document bugs or inconsistencies for engineering and production teams.
  • Perform site content updates using the content management system (CMS).
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Design, and QA throughout content releases.
  • Maintain internal documentation and content standards.
  • Prioritize multiple concurrent content releases while meeting deadlines.
  • Review peer work to maintain content quality and consistency.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in web content management, graphic design, web design, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience working with HTML, CSS, and JSON to build web content.
  • Deep familiarity with Dungeons & Dragons Fifth Edition (5e and/or 5.5e rules) and the ability to accurately interpret game mechanics.
  • Photoshop and graphic design experience.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS).
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail and quality assurance.
  • Demonstrated initiative, self-motivation, and proactivity in spotting and recommending process and performance improvements.
  • Experience working in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfort learning new proprietary tools and workflows.
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation and game rules.
  • Experience with tabletop RPGs beyond Dungeons & Dragons (preferred).
  • Familiarity with accessibility best practices for digital content (preferred).
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar project management tools (preferred).
  • Experience performing software or content QA (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Git or version control workflows (preferred).
  • Knowledge of responsive web design principles (preferred).
  • Experience working in digital publishing or game development (preferred).
  • Experience editing or preparing technical documentation (preferred).

  • Fully remote work.
  • Temporary contingent worker assignment with a 6-month duration and possible extension to 12 months.
  • Starting pay of $35/hour.
  • Pay range of $35-$40/hour.
