Description

  • Participate in major incident reviews and implement actions to prevent recurrence and minimize downtime.
  • Deploy, maintain, and administer distributed cloud systems in accordance with security best practices.
  • Support cloud infrastructure operations, including deployments, monitoring, incident resolution, disaster recovery, backup, and recovery.
  • Design and maintain production monitoring, automated reporting, and alerting solutions for infrastructure health, performance, and cost optimization.
  • Troubleshoot performance, stability, testing, and production issues, providing Level 2 production support.
  • Manage cloud resource configuration, governance, and identity and access management (IAM).
  • Identify automation opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and knowledge articles.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, disaster recovery planning and testing, and departmental knowledge sharing.
  • Contribute to cloud standards, best practices, and adoption of cloud-native technologies while meeting applicable regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Based in Latin America with English fluency and availability for an evening shift between 4:00 PM and 1:00 AM ET.
  • College degree or at least 2 years of equivalent management/work experience, including practical IT and IT security experience.
  • 3+ years of experience architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions.
  • 3+ years of experience designing applications, such as web or client/server applications.
  • 3+ years of infrastructure experience, including monitoring, DNS, DHCP, backups, and disaster recovery.
  • Experience with cloud-based enterprise infrastructure architecture and/or operations.
  • Experience supporting automation teams using Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins.
  • Strong understanding of cloud technologies, the Five Pillars of the Well-Architected Framework, networking protocols, and security/governance controls.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, organizational, customer service, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Microsoft or AWS certifications, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, and Terraform Associate Certification are preferred.

  • USD $3,500–$4,200 per month, depending on seniority and skill set.
