Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain unit, integration, end-to-end, and API test suites.
  • Develop and execute manual functional, regression, exploratory, and integration tests.
  • Apply AI tools across the software testing lifecycle to improve testing speed, coverage, and accuracy.
  • Create reusable automation frameworks and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Implement automated quality gates to prevent defective code from advancing.
  • Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools.
  • Analyze test results, document defects, and collaborate with developers on troubleshooting and resolution.
  • Identify test coverage gaps and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain documentation for test cases, scenarios, defects, and automation processes.
  • Collaborate with developers, Tech Leads, DevOps/SRE engineers, and product stakeholders to establish QA best practices.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in QA Engineering, software testing, test automation, or a related role.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and testing across integration and end-to-end levels.
  • Strong API testing experience, including Postman or similar tools.
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies, including functional and regression testing.
  • Comfort working in an AI-driven SDLC and adopting AI tooling.
  • Experience identifying, documenting, and troubleshooting software defects.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong English communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Preferred: Experience with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, API automation, cloud applications, Docker, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, performance testing, Agile/Scrum, or distributed engineering teams.

Benefits

  • USD $2,200–$3,000 monthly salary, depending on seniority and skill set.
  • Full-time contract through a payroll platform.
  • Remote work from Latin America, allocated to the client.
