Description

  • Manage projects end-to-end from mobilisation through close-out.
  • Coordinate technical advisory teams and consultants on a day-to-day basis.
  • Oversee budgets, financial forecasting, and value-for-money monitoring.
  • Maintain risk registers and liaise with security teams on risk management.
  • Engage with donors and stakeholders through regular client communication.
  • Oversee monitoring, evaluation, learning, and reporting requirements.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and people management where needed.
  • Contribute to organisational learning and identify future opportunities.

Requirements

  • Experience in project management within the aid, security, and/or development sectors.
  • Experience managing projects funded by bilateral or multilateral donors such as FCDO, EU, UN agencies, World Bank, or USG.
  • Strong budgeting, financial management, and risk management skills.
  • Confidence working with diverse, multinational teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused approach.
  • Comfort working remotely across East and Central Africa time zones and travelling to field locations.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly with MS 365, including Excel.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Proficiency in regional languages is a bonus.
