Description

  • Set up and launch production processes, including creating glass orders and verifying hardware availability.
  • Order custom hardware and materials when required and prepare component orders ahead of container arrivals.
  • Forecast demand and plan inventory to ensure warehouses are properly supplied.
  • Source, evaluate, and manage relationships with local and international suppliers.
  • Negotiate supplier prices, payment terms, and delivery timelines and follow up on order status.
  • Order consumables for installation teams and warehouses and resolve delivery or pickup issues.
  • Review technical drawings and specifications to create accurate material lists and check dimensions, finishes, and quality requirements before ordering.
  • Track changes in estimates and documentation and ensure technical documents and component orders are prepared on time.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Project Managers, designers/engineers, and estimators to support substitutions, change orders, budgeting, and material/pricing information.
  • Assist the warehouse team in verifying that received parts match drawings and specifications.

Requirements

  • 1+ years experience in procurement, supply chain, or engineering support in construction, manufacturing, or related industries.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Experience creating material lists from specifications and strong organizational skills.
  • Supplier negotiation experience and international sourcing capability.
  • Confidence working with spreadsheets and procurement systems.
  • English (B2) and Russian language skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Availability to work 8:30 AM–5:00 PM EST (New York time zone).
  • Nice to have: familiarity with AutoCAD or similar software for reviewing drawings.
  • Nice to have: experience with CRM systems for purchasing and inventory management.
