Description

  • Direct and quality-control AI-assisted monitoring of EU policy developments.
  • Verify accuracy, flag errors, and contextualise AI-generated output before client delivery.
  • Collect, structure, and analyse data to help calibrate and improve FiscalNote’s digital tools and platform.
  • Translate monitoring and analysis into client-relevant insight, including flash reports and briefings.
  • Support issues-management work with timely policy intelligence.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines and quality-assurance checkpoints.
  • Provide input to the Business Development team and participate in internal projects.
  • Work independently and collaborate as part of a small team.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in EU Law or EU Affairs/Politics.
  • Good understanding of EU legislative procedures and regulatory processes.
  • Knowledge of EU politics and policymaking.
  • Comfort using and critically evaluating AI-assisted research and monitoring tools.
  • Ability to write policy briefings, flash reports, and long-form analysis to a consistently high standard.
  • Experience working in EU public or regulatory affairs is an advantage.
  • Native or equivalent written and spoken English.
  • Additional EU languages are a plus.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks with strong time management and attention to detail.

Benefits

  • Initial 2- to 3-month independent contractor engagement with potential for extension.
  • Monthly fee of €3,250.
