Description

  • Facilitate Zoom sessions with professionalism and warmth to create a smooth participant experience.
  • Troubleshoot basic technical issues for attendees, including muted audio and screen sharing problems.
  • Help safeguard transcript quality by maintaining optimal audio conditions for transcription software.
  • Administer oaths and manage on-the-record and off-the-record procedural moments during proceedings.
  • Follow provided scripts and procedural forms carefully, accurately, and on time.
  • Maintain confidentiality and a composed, professional presence throughout each proceeding.
  • Support remote legal proceedings as part of Filevine's Digital Reporter network.

Requirements

  • Active Notary Public license in the state listed in the job posting.
  • Strong internet connection and access to a quiet, professional workspace.
  • Video-enabled computer with the necessary software capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to generally accommodate standard business hours, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM local time.
  • Familiarity with Zoom or other video conferencing software.
  • Experience in the legal industry is a bonus.
  • This is a 1099 independent contractor role.
