Description

  • Conduct secondary research into industries, companies, consumer trends, and related market topics.
  • Carry out store visits and retail audits to collect brand and product information.
  • Perform cold calls and trade interviews with companies and associations to gather qualitative and quantitative insights.
  • Analyze data, perform calculations, and develop market sizing estimates.
  • Interpret research findings to produce clear business insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Prepare client-ready deliverables, including written analyses, presentations, databases, and reports.
  • Support regional and international research projects on a freelance, project-based basis.
  • Adapt to project-specific assignments that may vary in scope and task mix.

Requirements

  • Professional fluency in English for clear written and verbal business communication; local language proficiency is an added advantage.
  • Exceptional numeracy skills with the ability to interpret, cross-reference, and analyze data from diverse sources.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and consistently meet deadlines in a remote working environment.
  • Prior experience in market research or consulting is highly desirable.
  • Exposure to research methodologies such as trade interviews is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting cold calls is an added advantage.
  • Experience with store visits, audits, or checks is preferred.
  • Experience with report writing and desk research is desirable.
