Description

Maintain accurate financial records and perform monthly reconciliations.
Process accounts payable: handle supplier invoices, schedule payments, and reconcile payable accounts.
Manage accounts receivable: issue and track B2B client invoices, send overdue payment reminders, and ensure billing aligns with contracts and service agreements.
Generate, issue, and track client invoices for retail and creative agency services.
Oversee a centralised expense management system: track, categorise, and reconcile credit card and other expenses monthly.
Reconcile bank statements and payment platforms (Wise, Shopify and others) to ensure records are up to date.
Support accountants in preparing monthly financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow summaries.
Maintain inventory records, reconcile inventory reports with financial records, and calculate/track cost of goods sold (COGS) for retail products.
Track and allocate project costs, manage project budgets and financial milestones, and prepare quotations and standardised budgets for clients while monitoring budgets vs. actuals for creative, publishing, and event projects.

Requirements

Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
1–2 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance-related roles.
Knowledge of financial software and tools; proficiency in accounting platforms is a plus.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Experience in an agency or retail environment is desirable.
Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
Experience or familiarity with inventory valuation, COGS calculation, and project-based accounting is desirable.
