Description

  • Contribute to efficient and reliable sequences of operation for data center equipment and systems.
  • Develop sequences of operation in alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to differentiate controls strategies within the data center market.
  • Work with controls team members and other departments to complete assigned work.
  • Own completion of sequence of operations, HMI development, and on-time execution of testing.
  • Develop test plans and test scripts for performance and witness testing.
  • Contribute to efforts to automate end-of-line testing.
  • Work directly with senior team members on sequence of operation and test execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in controls design and implementation.
  • Working knowledge of HVAC and data center controls strategies.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards.
  • Ability to review schematics and P&ID drawings.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to create block programming, structured text, and ladder logic.
  • Understanding of fluid dynamics, psychrometrics, and HVAC electrical systems.
  • Experience with Siemens PLC.
  • Proven experience in controls strategy within the data center cooling industry, HVAC, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with HVAC software systems, DDC/PLC-based controllers, building automation protocols, pumps, VFDs, and sensor/actuator systems.

  • Full-time onsite positions available in Memphis, Minneapolis, and Oklahoma City.
