Description

Design, develop, and maintain automated and manual test cases for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to define requirements and create comprehensive test strategies.
Own the QA process across the software development lifecycle, including test planning, execution, and reporting.
Identify, log, and track defects through resolution in coordination with engineering teams.
Work closely with CI/CD pipelines to support early detection of issues.
Maintain test environments, staging configurations, and data management strategies.
Develop and lead the adoption of automation initiatives for functional, regression, and integration testing.
Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to QA best practices and continuous process improvement.
Ensure testing aligns with regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and HITRUST.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in software QA, preferably in healthcare or regulated industries.
Experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated and manual test cases for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, or JUnit.
Experience with REST API testing tools such as Postman or RestAssured.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
Solid experience with version control systems like Git.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Experience with AWS services such as S3, EC2, Lambda, CloudWatch, and API Gateway is preferred.
Familiarity with HIPAA, HL7, FHIR, or other healthcare data standards is preferred.
Understanding of infrastructure-as-code tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform is preferred.
Performance testing experience with tools like JMeter, Gatling, or k6 is preferred.
Security testing experience is preferred.
Knowledge of containerized environments such as Docker or Kubernetes is preferred.
Ability to work US hours (PST) is preferred.
