Description

Lead the development of robust Java backend architectures with a focus on performance, security, and scalability.
Design and evolve RESTful API integrations to automate and streamline enterprise workflows.
Manage SQL environments, including schema design, query optimization, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
Own the technical health and architectural evolution of mission-critical backend systems.
Provide deep code reviews and technical mentorship to mid-level and junior engineers.
Communicate clearly with stakeholders and support collaboration with US-based clients.
Proactively identify and reduce technical debt across the delivery lifecycle.
Reverse-engineer complex logic and implement modern methodologies to improve efficiency.
Document systems and workflows to bring clarity across diverse codebases.

Requirements

5+ years of dedicated backend development experience.
Advanced proficiency in Java and the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Hibernate.
Strong experience with SQL database management, complex stored procedures, and performance tuning.
Deep understanding of CI/CD, Git, and cloud-native environments such as Azure or AWS.
Proven experience with microservices or distributed 3-tier architectures.
Advanced English proficiency, both written and verbal, for collaboration with US-based clients.
Mandatory experience in nearshore or offshore client-facing startup cultures.
