Description

  • Design, validate, and deploy production machine learning and statistical models for anomaly detection, forecasting, rate modeling, and invoice classification.
  • Apply NLP, embeddings, and LLMs to extract insights from supply chain documents and logistics contracts.
  • Build scalable feature engineering pipelines, model monitoring systems, and automated retraining workflows.
  • Analyze large transactional datasets and develop scenario models for shipping trends, carrier rates, and contract negotiations.
  • Use advanced SQL, visualizations, and executive presentations to translate findings into business solutions.
  • Maintain data quality, statistical validation, security, governance, and model performance across cloud platforms.
  • Collaborate with AI and software engineers and independently drive analytical initiatives.

Requirements

  • Proven data science experience developing end-to-end machine learning and statistical solutions for complex, high-volume transactional data.
  • Deep proficiency in Python, pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, and statsmodels.
  • Expertise writing complex SQL queries across MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with regression, classification, time-series forecasting, and clustering.
  • Hands-on experience with NLP, embeddings, and LLM techniques.
  • Experience with cloud ML platforms; Azure ML Studio or Azure AI Foundry preferred.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Python visualization libraries.
  • Fluent written and verbal English with the ability to explain technical insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to take ownership and work independently.
