Description

  • Design and implement semantic models, including facts, dimensions, metrics stores, and dbt-based semantic layers.
  • Build curated analytical views and production ELT/ETL pipelines that improve data freshness and retrieval performance.
  • Optimize queries, indexes, and schemas for low-latency analytical workloads using query log analysis.
  • Implement data governance controls, including RBAC, RLS, and dynamic masking for PII protection.
  • Establish data quality, pipeline monitoring, and anonymization standards across analytical layers.
  • Collaborate with AI engineering teams to align data structures with RAG and Agentic AI requirements.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of dedicated Data Engineering experience.
  • Production-grade SQL expertise with Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, or modern cloud data warehouses.
  • Proven experience building and maintaining resilient ETL/ELT pipelines and analytical structures.
  • Experience with RBAC, RLS, dynamic data masking, and database security.
  • Expertise tuning complex queries and applying Kimball dimensional modeling and dbt semantic layers.
  • Strong ownership and proactive problem-solving skills in collaborative nearshore teams.
  • Advanced written and spoken English for direct client collaboration.
  • Experience with Airflow or Prefect, vector databases, or RAG frameworks is preferred.
